More Fabulous Lancashire Dance Photography

We took another trip to Tina's Dance Studios in Wigan recently and had a great afternoon shooting images of some of the dance students for the school's 20th Anniversary show.

We had a mix of juniors and seniors throughout the shoot, and everyone had a great time.

We got a beautiful selection of colourful and black and white shots, to highlight the amazing costumes and the skills of the dancers from the little ones up to the seniors in the school.

Personalities

Like all photoshoots we do. When we photograph a number of different subjects all in the same day, then there are always some characters that are noticeable. Children are all so different and on photoshoot day they can even surprise the Nursery School Staff who know them so well. We often hear from staff that "this little one loves her photo being taken" only to find that they freeze when confronted by a camera and a big softbox, and then there are the ones who just love performing and are so natural you cant help getting a great shot.

Nursery Photography in Lancashire

We did some great Nursery portraits this last few weeks in Lancashire where most of our Nursery School clients are,  here is a small selection which we think worked great in black and white. There is something about children's photography done  black and white, that makes the images seem so natural,  the absence of colour somehow means less distraction and the image becomes purely about the child and their personality.
